Hello Stygur Thank you for your inquiry. Due to the design, the minimum possible width of the bed is approx. 80 cm. However, the length can be shortened further by removing components. If only 180/160 cm is required instead of a 200 cm long bed, the approximate size can be achieved by removing one or more rhombuses (the instructions describe how to install or, conversely, remove the rhombuses in the "Resizing" section). Is a mattress weighing 28 kg ok? I wonder if the permanent weight will cause damage to the box ends?

You can find a size chart in the instructions on page 5 (digital). Line 15 shows the dimensions for a 180x200 cm mattress. To do this, please follow the instructions on page 10-12 "Size changes" in the assembly instructions, which you can find in the online store. Follow points A-I - at point E you only need to remove 6 rhombuses to adjust the bed to the desired size. Due to the special construction of the ROOM IN A BOX bed size 90x200, the following 6 sizes are possible with this product: pre-assembled: 80 x 200 | 90 x 190 | 90 x 200, by conversion: 80 x 220 | 90 x 220 | 100 x 200. For a size change to 100 x 200, the additional rhombus enclosed in the package must be inserted into the construction. This process is described in the assembly instructions (page "Size changes") and only requires a few simple steps. The price is the regular price for size 90 x2 00 - 149.00 CHF.
