This bread has not been available in Ticino for a few months now, which I really miss.
I have also tried the alternatives, but they taste less good than this bread.
Is it possible to reintroduce this bread in Locarno or nearby (Solduno/Minusio)?
Basel, Aare and Zurich still have this bread, in all other cooperatives it was taken out of the assortment in September 2013. Unfortunately, the item will not be put back on sale.Your M-Infoline team

Just under six months ago, I often bought "German wholemeal rye bread" at Migros in Buchs, and it was delicious. But I've never seen one in Basel and there's nothing on Migipedia either. Does this bread no longer exist? If it does, where can you buy it? Thank you very much

I really miss the wholemeal rye bread with nuts! I regularly visit the Winterthur and Neuhausen branches - unfortunately both belong to the Eastern Switzerland Cooperative and so the bread is missing in both branches!

I love this bread. But now I have another question.
The first ingredient on the list is rye groats, is that wholemeal rye groats or just rye groats and not wholemeal?

Thank you very much for your reply; I have already tried all the alternatives listed, but with the exception of the potato bread, they have unfortunately not convinced me.
I live in the city of St. Gallen and since last summer the bread is no longer available in the MMM Neumarkt and MM St. Finden stores (which are the two largest in the city). In which store in the city/region is it still available?

The rye wholemeal bread with nuts that you are looking for is still in demand by very few customers at Migros Ostschweiz and is therefore no longer available. Apart from those already mentioned (the organic rye sourdough bread (without nuts), the wholemeal bread or the wholemeal country bread), we are unfortunately unable to offer you any other alternatives at present.

Please consider offering this bread again in the sales outlets in the Eastern Switzerland region. I know quite a few people who have sorely missed this bread on the Migros shelves since this fall.

The popular wholemeal rye bread with nuts no longer seems to be sold in Ticino either. I am totally unhappy because I can't find an equivalent substitute.

Unfortunately, the Lake Constance region has also recently run out of this best bread. The latest gag: The staff sold my wife the sliced wholemeal rye bread (for sale until 09.09.13 and best before 13.09.13) on 08.09.13, and we discovered it at home: Totally moldy !!!
I suspect this is also the reason why Migros has no interest in continuing to produce this bread, as it could have been kept for several weeks, which is obviously not conducive to sales. The sliced bread with a labeled consumption time of 2 days (unrefrigerated !! and 6 days refrigerated) is much more profitable, it eats itself in a 2-person household.

As you have correctly noted, the rye wholemeal bread is not available at MM Amriswil. Unfortunately, we cannot sell all breads and rolls in all stores. The rye wholemeal bread is not in high enough demand from customers at MM Amriswil and is therefore not in the range there. As an alternative, we can recommend the following breads: the organic rye sourdough bread (without nuts), the potato bread with nuts, the wholemeal bread or the wholemeal country bread.
And if you still don't want to miss out on the wholemeal rye bread: it is available at MM Arbon and MM Weinfelden.

Then I'd rather do without the bread than take another alternative, because I only eat the wholemeal rye bread with nuts from migro and would be happy if the migro branch in amriswil would take this bread back into the range.
