The new pink caps for Rocchetta mineral water are no longer practical and difficult to remove. I would be happy if the old green caps were to be used again or if a good and simple variant were to follow.
Hello Moozy, thank you for your message. As part of its circular economy package, the EU has also adopted a plastics strategy which, among other things, regulates single-use plastics. In addition to the ban on single-use plastic items, such as plastic straws and plastic stirrers, the EU's new requirement stipulates that the caps must remain attached to the bottles even when they are open. This will apply from July 1, 2024 at the latest. The ongoing changeover has already begun and affects all disposable liquid containers with a capacity of up to three liters. The primary aim is to prevent loose caps from ending up in the environment and to recycle them together with the bottles. We regret that this is impractical and makes the bottles more difficult to open. We will of course keep an eye on this issue and make adjustments if necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
