I am interested in the Kassensturz test winner robusta Elanbasic II Medium. I was in a Micasa store on 25.04.2025. Right at the beginning, the consultant said that this was not suitable for everyday use, but rather as a guest or children's bed. She recommended the ELANSPRING Medium mattress, also from robusta. It was wonderful when I tried it out, but it was also more expensive. Now my question: Is it true that the robusta ELANBASIC II medium is not suitable for daily use? If so, for what reason (does the material crumple too quickly)? Or is this a sales tactic?

I have questions about Robusta Elanbasic II medium, width 180cm:
- Is it easy to transport? Can it be folded, or does it need a van to transport it?
- Is it compatible with the cardboard bed (Room in a Box, in your range) - do you have any experience with this?
- How exactly does the return policy work? Can I test the mattress for a few weeks and then return/exchange it if it doesn't fit?

Does the zipper go all the way around (so that you have a separate top and bottom half when you open it)? The background is, we had a similar mattress from you, but the zipper did not open all the way around and with a wide mattress it is then impossible to wash the cover in a washing machine because there is too much material

These are the same mattresses. The only difference is that one of them has an "S" in the product name. I can only see that the mattresses have different covers. But what makes me wonder is the difference in weight of 3 kg in the product description.
So what, apart from the cover, is the difference between "Elanbasic II S Medium" and "Elanbasic II Medium"?

The main difference between these two models is in relation to: The variant with the "S" in the name, Robusta ELANBASIC II S Medium, is especially suitable for allergy sufferers and is made without animal hair. This makes it particularly suitable for people with allergies.
We have contacted the supplier regarding the difference in weight, as an error has crept into the product description. We will have this information corrected as soon as possible. Both mattress models have the same core and the difference in fabric is minimal.
