Hello KartoffelstockWind, thank you for your question. We only use vegetable fats, oils or butter to make our bread and baked goods, but no animal slaughter fats and therefore no pork fat or lard. The exception is greaves in our specialty greaves sticks. Additives such as gelling agents E401 (sodium alginate), E406 (agar-agar), E407 (carrageenan), E414 (gum arabic) and E440 (pectin) or emulsifiers such as E471 and E472 (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids) or E475 (polyglycerol esters of fatty acids), which we use in the production of our bread and baked goods, are always of vegetable origin. We cannot guarantee cross-contamination in the production chain. In addition, we cannot make any general statements about how our suppliers manufacture their products or about their suppliers' processes. This applies here to the Ragusa Stängeli.
