Like me, many other customers are totally disappointed with the new version of Quark. The name no longer corresponds to the contents. There is not a single truffle left in it, just the cheapest chocolate with an ugly taste. There is also much less chocolate powder in the quark itself, but all the more sugar, which makes it taste even worse. The fact that you then justify this by saying that consumers are complaining about mold, I think is quite wrong. It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that the new ingredients are much cheaper and that the main aim seems to be to save costs. Because mold infestation is definitely not prevented with this changed recipe. Incidentally, I haven't had a single cup with mold in 15 years. My question now is, are you going to change anything in this respect? Surely you can't be treating loyal customers like this? I will only buy the quark again when you restore the old recipe and there are truffles in it again. What you are doing is a scam. If I don't get an honest answer, I'll report you to consumer protection or the Observer. The customer is being taken for a fool here, I won't tolerate it. Until then, I will no longer shop at Migros. For me, this junket was reason enough to go to Migros, without it I can shop elsewhere.

Due to numerous customer feedbacks, which complained about frequent mold infestation of the Crème Chocolat Truffes Quark, we have changed the supplier of the chocolate mass, which meets our quality requirements. The resulting change in taste was judged to be very slight by internal and external tasters. We regret that you no longer like the taste of our quark. Changing recipes is always a balancing act, as the tastes of our customers vary. For this reason, it is very difficult to find a suitable solution for all Migros consumers. We can also confirm that the new ingredients are of a higher quality. In the case of a fresh product, the storage of the product can also cause variations in taste. It seems that the recipe has been changed. The quark cream is no longer even half as fine. One user replied that the recipe had been changed because of mold. We have been buying it every week on Friday or Saturday for 6 years and eat it until Thursday. In all those years we have had ONE with mold. This is probably NOT due to the recipe, otherwise we would have ended up with a lot more bad products. The cold chain must be maintained... Now I suspect that the new chocolate in the curd is a lot cheaper than the previous one. And that's probably why the recipe has been adapted. There's nothing like profit. Is that right? How many customers have to complain for the recipe to be changed back? Or will that not happen?

Hello Jabeal, as you correctly wrote, the reason for the recipe adjustment was the mold infestation. The recipe was implemented cost-neutrally, neither the purchase price nor the sales price have changed. We are sorry that you no longer like the taste of the product. Have any changes been made to the ingredients? I think the quark has recently become sweeter than before. The pieces of chocolate seem to have more sugar. What a shame!

Are you aware that this delicious quark cream is always infested with mold? I have to throw away about every fifth pot because it is contaminated. The expiration date has not yet passed. That's very frustrating when you've been looking forward to this delicious dessert! I have the feeling that this problem has only existed since the plastic lid was replaced by an aluminum one. What a shame, because for me there is nothing better!

The Choco quark cream with chocolate chips must be kept refrigerated, as it is a hygienically challenging fresh product. We are also currently testing new suppliers for the chocolate base. We decided to do this after sales had been declining for some time. We are very sorry to disappoint you with this decision. Unfortunately, space on the shelves is limited, so it is our duty to constantly check the attractiveness of our selection and make adjustments where necessary.
