Smells strong, is therefore stored outside. Approx. 1-2 days after adding to the compost, a rise in temperature could be detected. So it does what it should :-)

Good as a compost cover. Helps against bad odors from compost. Very fine material.
I can't evaluate I returned it, but I still have some and it works well
The product is great, I have been using it for years
