Can this product be used as a varnish on a wooden part that will be permanently immersed in water (sailboat appendage)?

However, it is not specifically designed for use as a varnish on wood parts that are constantly in water. While it may provide some protection against moisture, it may not offer the durability and long-term protection required for a piece of wood that is constantly submerged. For such an application, we recommend using a varnish specially designed for marine conditions, which will offer more robust and durable protection against water, salt and UV rays. Is the product food safe when it is turned off? I would like to use it for Kintsugi? If not, is there another similar product that is food safe?
