As the mushrooms are soaked in oil, I would like to know whether the seal in the lid is also safe with regard to the release of oil-soluble substances. Keyword: silicone seal with oily contents. In other words, what is the seal made of?

Why do they only exist in this oil and no longer in the water?
Hello Pinon, thank you for your question. The mushrooms keep longer in oil than in water. So that we can trace the production (you mention that the product tastes like used oil), we ask you to give us the best-before date and the lot number. The waste oil was meant symbolically, of course there is NO waste oil in it, because I don't like the oily stuff and I have to pay special attention to what I eat, I'll probably have to make these mushrooms myself in future. No offense!

Where is the predecessor of this product ???????????? The old one was twice as expensive but also twice as good! Too bad ......................
Guest, by previous product do you mean the grilled mushrooms from Sacla (jar with orange lid)? Yep, they were very tasty. Much better than Polli's. Unfortunately, Migros has removed Sacla from its range - my trusted Migros saleswoman told me.
A little tip behind closed doors: Coop carries the Sacla brand - I now buy the champis there.

The previous product was indeed discontinued as part of a product range revision to make room for new products and other variations in the antipasti area.
