This is the second time we've had a plait without! salt. That spoils the start to the weekend... It's a shame because we haven't found a better braid yet and we buy them faithfully at Migros. Do you really not check the quality of your plaited bread?

In Gümligen, for example, it is only available on Friday and Saturday;-(

Why do you need lactose? Very unsuitable for lactose-sensitive people! I also don't understand what this has to do with a braid, except to produce weight and save other substances.

I miss plaiting the most since I have to do without every last crumb of milk sugar.... :(
A lactose-free spelt flour plait would be the best. It would certainly turn out well with light spelt flour. Unfortunately, I have a wheat intolerance and can only eat spelt bread.
