Hello, the recipe has just changed! I was very satisfied with the old version and even used it for my hair. Today the new formula doesn't suit me at all, I'm very disappointed by this change... It took me a long time to find a suitable soap for my hair, and now I'm in a quandary again... Do you think it's possible to get access to the old version of the soap again? Thank you in advance.

Hello 2341Miata, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the previous soap formula is no longer available. Titanium dioxide as well as kerosene have been removed from the formula of this item. In addition, vegan certification has been implemented. Yours sincerely, the M-Infoline team

Are the products in the pH balance line syndets (synthetic detergents)?

↵Good evening Migosa↵↵Withthese wash bars yes, but not with the pH Balance liquid soap 🧴Mentioned in my review as I was unaware of syndet .↵↵Best regards ↵ Frederica

Hello Migosa, thank you for your inquiry. The pH balance wash products (shower shampoos, liquid soaps, wash bars) contain synthetic detergents and no soap. The other pH balance products (creams, deodorants, wipes, sticks, oils) contain no surfactants at all. As the term "syndets" or "synthetic detergents" is somewhat misleading, we need to explain two more things: The term was originally coined to explain what was used in soap-free products instead of soap. Soap is natural, as it is made from natural plant oils in a chemical step. For this reason, soap was historically the first surfactant available to mankind. However, as soap has some technical disadvantages and is also quite irritating to the skin because its pH is very far removed from that of the skin, numerous surfactants have also been produced from plant oils in recent decades. To emphasize the contrast to soap, they have been called synthetic surfactants or "syndets". They are much better tolerated by the skin than soap and are easier to combine in shampoos and similar products. Syndets are only partly synthetic. Around half of each molecule comes from plant oils. They should therefore actually be called "tea syndets". Like soap, they are highly biodegradable. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

I am wondering whether I should use this soap-free wash bar even in Corona times or whether it is better to switch to a conventional soap now. Thank you for your answer

Hello Daja2, all washing-active substances (soap or other surfactants) remove the viruses from the skin and also dissolve their lipid membrane, i.e. their protective layer, thus rendering them harmless. It does not matter which washing product is used (bar soap, soap-free washing bar, liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo, hand dishwashing liquid). The important thing here is that the hands are rubbed with the foam long enough and everywhere. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I tried, but none of the soaps had the unique fragrance of the "M classic" soaps (formerly "Flair"), which came in pink and white. A salesman told me that they sold very well until they changed packaging and name (the new light grey packaging of the white soap made it almost invisible on the shelf). Bellena" (which has the same shape) has nothing to do with it and is irritating, "Lux" is too creamy... I use "Monsavon" as a replacement, but I preferred the Migros ones. Why don't I make Flair soaps again? They'd still be selling if it hadn't been for the change of name and packaging, which most customers didn't recognize (plus they were now sold in pairs, wrapped in cellophane, so you couldn't smell their fragrance in store). Too bad, it was an excellent product that could only be found at Migros.

Hello dani, thank you very much for your post. We are very sorry that your favorite soap is no longer available in our stores. Unfortunately, assortment revisions are sometimes unavoidable. We hope you understand. We have gladly passed on your message to the appropriate department. Please understand, however, that we may not be able to implement your proposal immediately or at all. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
