However, according to the ingredients, the product still contains microplastics: acrylates crosspolymer-4, which is microplastic according to Code-Check. Are efforts being made to change this?
Thank you for your question LS. Acrylates Crosspolymer-4 and other acrylate polymers are not microplastics. They do not form particles, but dissolve as individual molecules in water. Therefore, they are also biodegradable and do not accumulate in the environment like microplastics. They are therefore unproblematic for the environment. Neither acrylate polymers nor microplastics are harmful to humans. The pH Balance Anti-Dandruff Shampoo contains Acrylates Crosspolymer-4 as a thickener and stabilizer. This substance is dispersible in water. If it is mixed with lye, it dissolves in water. It is also non-toxic to aquatic animals. We therefore currently see no reason to adjust the recipe. If you want to completely avoid synthetic substances, certified natural cosmetic products are available, for example our I Am Natural range: https://produkte.migros.ch/sortiment/supermarkt/koerperpflege-kosmetik?q=i%20am%20natural&facets=label~naturkosmetik Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Does this shampoo contain microplastics?
Hello CBWB, thank you for your question. Mibelle AG has not used microplastics in its products for over two and a half years. This means that this shampoo does not contain any microplastics either. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
