The quality has deteriorated, no longer as fluffy as the earlier madeleines. Of course, it could also be that they were no longer as fresh, as the expiration date was two days later. Unfortunately, I didn't get any fresher goods - which is not surprising in the Gränichen branch.
A sweet snack that's been enjoyed for years! But why are they suddenly no longer madeleines, but "muffins"? What a name change.
