Regarding the taste: the typical spicy note was no longer as intense (greasy and bland).
Unfortunately, I cannot provide any information on the best-before date or the lot number. The packaging has already been disposed of.

According to the specialist department, there have been no recipe changes here, nor have we received any similar feedback, which is why we assume this is an unfortunate isolated case. Nevertheless, we are continuing to keep an eye on the issue.

Hi ChuYc, the frozen Pelican product does indeed contain Alaska pollock instead of cod. The reason for this improvement is that Alaska pollock is juicier and therefore produces a better quality product.
