Lately, I often find shrimps with the skin and legs badly peeled. It's very annoying and forces me to sort them out one by one. Can your quality department do anything about this?
Hello John26, thank you for your message. Each product has different indications. Please send us the following information: the minimum shelf life and the batch or lot number. The batch or lot number is usually found next to the product's best-before date, and usually begins with the letter L. It can also be a combination of letters and numbers. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team
Hello, the expiration date and lot number can be found on one of the attached photos: 06.05.2027 and 06:17 2
Hello John26, thank you for your feedback. Thanks to a comprehensive sorting system and regular product quality checks, great care is taken to remove shell remnants and other foreign bodies from the shrimp. During the production process, the shrimps pass through a series of scanners where foreign bodies and remaining pieces of shell are sorted out. Later in the process, the shrimp are subjected to a visual inspection, and any objects that might still be in the product are removed by hand. Quality control of the final product is carried out during production, on the production line, and later by our laboratory staff.
However, despite the complete sorting and peeling system, it is not possible to guarantee a totally shell/leg-free product. We strive to keep this proportion below 3% in our final product, in line with specifications.
After checking our production documents, we found no anomalies on the day of manufacture in question. We have informed the Greenland shrimp factory of your complaint and are keeping a close eye on the matter. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team
