Hello, I would like to know whether this product is also suitable for people with coeliac disease. Can gluten contamination occur during processing or can the fish be consumed without hesitation? Kind regards
Hello PatrickHA, the pangasius fillets do not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any traces be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). In addition, gluten-containing ingredients must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour). Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "May contain gluten" or "May contain traces of gluten".
