Didn't they used to have nail files in them?

I've just started using the Pedic mycosis pen, and so far I'm happy with it, but I can't remember how to use it (I've certainly thrown out the info). It seems to me that at the beginning, it's 2x/d. then 1x/d from the 2nd week onwards? is that what's recommended? With my thanks and best regards, Claudia Coste
