Where do the chestnuts come from?
Hello Valerio44, the chestnuts come from Europe, depending on availability from Spain, Italy, Portugal and/or Serbia. In general, according to food law, the indication of origin is voluntary or not mandatory. Not indicating the origin on the label depends mainly on availability. Labels or packaging cannot always be adapted with regard to origin. If an origin should change, e.g. due to availability, we would have to change the print data or packaging each time. The old package with more practical tray with the new one the chestnut puree remains in the folds!!!
Hi Maddaluci, thank you for your comment. We are sorry that the new package is not satisfactory. In principle, when vermicelles are soft you can cut the package and split the product lengthwise. This avoids unraveling and leaves less residue in the package. Previously, the same item was sold in a tray with a cardboard wrapper. For this product, the packaging has changed slightly because we focus on sustainability. With the new packaging, we can save almost 80 percent material. In the case of vermicelles, this is a total of just under two tons of packaging per year. Alternatively, we can recommend Anna's Best vermicelles, item number 1150.952, (with a shorter expiration date) or M-Classic ready-made vermicelles, item number 1614.306 (frozen). Best Regards Your M-Infoline Team
