Is this vanilla sugar gluten-free?

Hello Starlet, Patissier vanilla sugar does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, oats, etc.). In addition, ingredients containing gluten must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour). Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Is the ethanol used in the production process to dissolve the vanilla or is it just the addition of real bourbon vanilla?

Why this new packaging? It only causes confusion with the vanilla powder that you sell right next to it. Now it doesn't look natural either, which is a shame. What are your thoughts? Will the product be bought more often in this new packaging?

Hello DawoIsstundtrinkt, thank you for your request. We're sorry that you don't like the new packaging. Packaging changes are not always met with understanding, especially if you have become accustomed to a product. Nevertheless, the habits, needs and wishes of consumers require a future-oriented adaptation of product ranges. It is therefore sometimes necessary to adapt products in line with the latest findings. In most cases, the aim is to offer improved customer benefits - be it in terms of product handling, product protection, information on the packaging, or for ecological reasons. Migros has introduced a large number of new products in recent years. In order to integrate these optimally into the existing range, the assortments are constantly reviewed and the results evaluated. The main aim is to design a product range that is constantly adapted to changing needs on the one hand and to the space available on the shelves on the other. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

standardizing the packaging of vanilla sugar, yeast, baking powder etc. has the disadvantage that I can no longer see at a glance what is missing from my stock - I now buy the products from Coop... This has nothing to do with the quality but everything to do with the packaging.

Thank you for your Migipedia article.

We are aware that we will never be able to satisfy all customer wishes and needs with the new Patissier design and that it will take some time for customers to get used to the new packaging. After all, the old ones have remained the same for decades.

However, it was time to standardize the many different and outdated designs in the bakery store with the Patissier line in order to create more calm and clarity on the shelf and to offer more attractive and contemporary packaging.
