Why does the country of origin change occasionally?
Is Patissier corn starch gluten-free? The packaging does not provide any information on this.

If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Accordingly: Observe the list of ingredients! Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten". Hello Aabach, Patissier corn starch does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over be expected. In addition, ingredients containing gluten must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour).

Every time new packaging is created (which costs a lot and doesn't benefit the consumer), the content becomes less and the price higher. This raw material cannot be subject to such a huge increase in price - unless customers have to pay the designers' wages at the same time.
The product works great and has always been in my store cupboard.
