Does it contain gluten?
Hello cloclo411, fresh baker's yeast, both conventional (item number 115002700000) and organic (item number 115004000000), comes from Hefe Schweiz AG, which uses only beet molasses or concentrated sugar juice in its production. Contamination with gluten-containing ingredients can therefore be ruled out. The same applies to Le Patissier dry yeast (article number 102782400000). Should any of these products contain gluten or traces of gluten, this will be indicated on the packaging. With best regards, your M-Infoline team

"E471 Emilgatör" What is the derivation clause? Is it vegan? What was used in its production? Is it halal? It doesn't say that in the ingredients. It is an important issue for me. Thank you very much.
Hello Muratt, thank you for your inquiry. The emulsifier contained in the dry baker's yeast is plant-based. The dry baker's yeast is therefore vegan and halal-suitable. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello. Is the yeast gluten-free? Thank you for your answer.
Hello Sunshine_89,The fresh baker's yeast available at Migros - conventional (article number 115002700000) and organic (article number 115004000000) - comes from Hefe Schweiz AG, which only uses beet molasses or sugar syrup for its production. Contamination with gluten-containing ingredients can therefore be ruled out. The same applies to Le Patissier dry yeast (article number 102782400000). If one of these products were to contain gluten-containing ingredients or traces thereof, this would be indicated on the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Many thanks for the precision. It is very helpful.

I have been baking plaited bread for years, always with your dry yeast. But for some time now, the dough has not risen properly.... Could it be that you haven't just changed the packaging?
Hello KNONAUERIN, thank you very much for your inquiry. How nice that you have been using the product for years for your homemade plait. We are all the more sorry that the dough has not been rising as desired recently. We will be happy to look into this. For further clarification, please send us the best-before date and the batch number (starting with L) so that we can use a production series as a guide. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why was it necessary to design more elaborate packaging? Until now, the foil for six sachets was good and completely sufficient. The description on each individual bag is exactly the same as on the large cardboard pack.
Hello PeterOe, thank you very much for your message. We are sorry that you no longer like the new packaging. However, we do not fully understand your objection. The design has been adapted, but the packaging itself has not changed. We also still offer the product as a multi-pack. Could you explain your objection in more detail? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Yes, the 6- or 3-pack was previously packed in cellophane or similar material. Now it is a cardboard box, which uses more resources.
Hello PeterOe, thank you very much for your feedback. The outer packaging has not changed either. The individual packs are wrapped in OPP film in packs of 3 or 6 and are not packed in a cardboard box. You are welcome to use the contact form to let us know in which store you noticed a cardboard box and send us a photo of it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Dear M-Infoline, I'm not PeterOe, but you might want to have a look in the store. The yeast is now actually packaged in 6 bags, which are contained in a cardboard box. This takes up more space and isn't any more sustainable. I bought the yeast in the cardboard box a few weeks ago in the store on Lindenplatz in Zurich Altstetten. Barcode 7613312306031, article number 1027.824, batch number C0006SD, expiration date 11-2022. I also have a photo, but you really only need to look at your own.
Hello e-p, thank you for your message. We understand your surprise about the packaging method. This is not an ideal solution for us either. We normally offer the yeast without the carton. However, as demand has increased many times over due to Corona, we had to check how we could still ensure the availability of the yeast. As an interim solution, we now used various suppliers. As not all of them have the same packaging options, we are also temporarily offering other variants. As soon as demand has normalized, we would like to offer yeast without additional packaging material again. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does one bag correspond to one cube of fresh yeast or what is the ratio?
Hello Nemrac12, thank you for your inquiry. One bag of dry yeast is equivalent to half a cube of fresh yeast. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is the emulsifier of animal origin or is the baker's yeast vegan?
Hello Alnatura_lovers, Patissier dry yeast 1027.824 is vegan according to the recipe. The additive E 491 is of vegetable origin. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Product no longer available anywhere for approx. one month. Quantities are also no longer updated (e.g. Breitenbach SO where 18 units are constantly specified). So why do they say there are no supply shortages anywhere?
This is a "stock item" that has exceeded all sales expectations due to the corona pandemic. We are currently unable to procure goods: See the stock levels listed in the stores. These values are updated daily. However, if the stocks are not updated by the stores due to breakages, data problems, incorrect deliveries or theft, the "incorrect" stocks remain in the system. Fresh yeast is available as an alternative item in the bread and bakery goods department. Unfortunately, there are also supply problems in this area. We hope that we have been able to help you with this answer and would be delighted if we could continue to welcome you as a valued customer in our Migros. your M-Infoline team
