Can the baking filling be frozen?
Hello Mikkajoghurt66,
The Patissier Birnenweggen bakery filling is not intended for the freezing process, so no qualitative or sensory tests have yet been carried out in this regard. Nevertheless, it is of course possible to freeze the bakery filling; freezing poses no risk in terms of food safety as long as it is frozen before the end of its shelf life.
However, the quality (especially the texture) may suffer somewhat as a result of the freezing process and the product may not be exactly as you are used to.
Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

How long can the baking filling be used after the best-before date?
Hello panadovre, the best-before date on long-life foods is to be understood as a recommendation. It indicates the minimum time until which an unopened foodstuff will retain all of its characteristic properties if stored appropriately. If stored for longer than this, a loss of quality must be expected (taste, appearance, consistency, etc.). How long - weeks, months - a product can still be enjoyed after the best-before date has expired depends on the item, so it is not possible to make a general recommendation. We recommend that you check the product in terms of its appearance, smell and taste. If in doubt, throw the product away. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is the product Baking Filling Pears gluten-free?
Hello 719879, the Patissier Baking Filling Pears does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients and no carry-over is to be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Therefore: Check the list of ingredients! Spices are gluten-free by definition. Seasoning mixtures can contain gluten, but this would then have to be declared (e.g. Seasoning mix (with wheat starch))
Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten", which is not present in this product.
Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
