Hello cogae, thank you for your message. The light source can be switched on and off and dimmed using the remote control. You can also change the colors and select special effects. If you switch the light off using the wall switch, you also have to switch it on again using the wall switch, otherwise the remote control will not work. Regarding the noise, unfortunately we don't have a sample to check this at the moment. However, we have never received any feedback that the light bulb should buzz.
