Hello, I have noticed that Oscar dog food is practically no longer available anywhere. Are there any delivery problems? When will the product be available again? Greetings
Pet food is currently difficult to obtain from many large retailers (migros edeka rewe) due to a lack of packaging, high demand and price negotiations.
Hello rscheidegger, thank you for your question. You and Coacoa200 are both right with your assumptions. But there is also the following: The supplier decided to stop production. Because we don't want to do without the food, we started looking for an alternative manufacturer, which we fortunately found. However, the latter is still waiting for the packaging material. We expect to be able to offer Oskar dry food again in February. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello I hope that you will continue to stock Oscar dog food. I have noticed that almost no store has any stock left. Best regards C. Jetzer PS: Thank you very much for your profound answer 2 months ago. I now always add a few drops of olive oil to the food and the paw pads no longer have any cracks. He really likes the Oscar food.
Hi Rhf23, thanks for your post. The item will be available again in our stores tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. We will not be removing the Oscar brand from our range. Your four-legged friend can therefore continue to look forward to Oscar food:-) Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, my dog has cracks in his paw pads. I have read that this is due to a lack of saturated fatty acids. Does Oskar dog food not contain any? If so, I would drizzle olive oil over it in future. thank you very much. mfg
Hello Rhf23, thank you for your question about dog food. We assume that you mean unsaturated fatty acids, is that correct? These are contained in Oskar Sensitive dog food as omega-3 and omega-6. Oskar Sensitive is a very high-quality, balanced and healthy dog food that fully meets your dog's needs. Basically, a dog needs saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. In connection with skin diseases, whereby the paw pads also represent skin, you should consider polyunsaturated, long-chain fatty acids. Linoleic acid and a-linolenic acid are very common in this context. A deficiency of these two fatty acids can impair the skin's barrier function. This may mean that your dog has a different individual requirement for polyunsaturated fatty acids than other animals. Your idea is very good. Fish, evening primrose, borage or linseed oils are best suited. These are particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The olive oil mentioned is also suitable, but it does not contain as many omega-3 fatty acids as the other products, so the effect will not be seen as quickly or in a weaker form. If you have any further questions, just get in touch - we hope it works. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
