Lot no. L00379R405. Strongly recommend to check reserve samples! So far I have been very satisfied and really like the product. And again: Expiry date November 26, 2023 with lot no. L000402R405. Completely inedible! When will something finally happen? I am absolutely disappointed with the way Migros treats quality!

There are various reasons that could be responsible for this deviation in quality. One of them is leaking packaging. During the filling process, the conveyor belt moves the cups from one process step to the next. It can happen that a little of the product drips onto the edge of the cup, which affects the subsequent sealing step. As a result, the lid is no longer completely sealed, and the mold spores in the air contaminate the product. Another reason may be an interruption in the cold chain. Hello, I have been a big fan of this product for a while but doing some research recently I have noticed that the inclusion of E955 has raised some potential concerns (for instance https://usrtk.org/sweeteners/sucralose-emerging-science-reveals-health-risks/). Could you clarify the use/dosage or any information of the choice? I personally believe that additional sweetener is not needed but eager to hear your view.

Dear srda, legally, Migros is governed by the requirements of the federal government (BLV), which is responsible for the risk assessment and evaluation of additives. The Additives Ordinance regulates the permissibility of the various substances and lists areas of application and maximum quantities. As long as the authorities consider sucrlaose to be safe, there is no reason for us to refrain from using these additives.Should the federal government (BLV) adjust its recommendations on the use of sweeteners such as sucralose, Migros will of course comply. All sweeteners were extensively tested for safety before being approved as food additives. Regulatory authorities, such as the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) in the EU, have recognized the use of these substances as safe when consumed in normal amounts.
