Hello. When will the price of tampons be adjusted? From 2024, the reduced VAT rate will be applied to feminine hygiene products. Prices will therefore have to fall relatively soon. Thank you for your feedback.
Hello missy_89, thank you for your question. It is absolutely correct that Parliament adopted a partial revision of the VAT Act in June 2023. The reduced tax rate of 2.6% will now apply to monthly hygiene products. However, the new VAT is not scheduled to come into force until January 1, 2025. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
