Why is oat listed here as an allergen if the drink is gluten-free?
Hi Maja876, oats are often contaminated by other gluten-containing grains such as wheat during production or processing. This is why oats are classified as a gluten-containing grain and must be labeled as a potential allergen. Only specially produced oats that are not contaminated and whose gluten content from wheat is below 20 mg/kg may be labeled as "gluten-free, with oats". This is not the case with Oatly oat drink. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
