Hello dear Migros team, I completely agree with "Anuna" here. How many more bad reviews do you need before the chips are made by the old manufacturer again and taste authentic? I also asked the sales staff at 3 larger Migros branches near me about this. They also confirmed to me through the tape that since the new recipe they no longer have the sales volume they used to have. So please change this again. Yours sincerely, Marscherr

Hello Marscher, thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we can't go back to the old product - the producer has decided to stop making these potato chips. The product now has a lower proportion of potato starch and is slightly different in taste. We are sorry that we cannot comply with your request. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good day! Assuming you have read it, you will notice that the reactions to the new formula are negative with only one exception. How many negative reactions does it take before you return to the old formula?

Isn't it the case that you no longer recognize the "normal taste" because you are so inoculated by the many flavour enhancers and additives?

Good day. I know the real taste of a good papadum very well, I spent a long time in Sri Lanka and India in the 1950s/60s and ate curry prepared by local cooks at least three times a week. This was before the days of flavor enhancers and additives, the right ingredients and spices were used. When you buy a foreign product, you want it to be authentic: more or less fat or salt is not the criterion at that moment, you can eat healthily on other occasions. I see that you have given the only good review. Are you really implying that all of us who reacted negatively do not recognize the normal taste of a papadum?

Thank you for your feedback on the Namaste India Papadum Chips Anuna. We are sorry that you no longer like them. We had to adapt the recipe due to a change of producer. It is not easy to find a supplier who can produce the chips for us with the old recipe. Our internal tasting staff tried the new potato chips before the change and found them to be of better quality and more authentic. As tastes are very different, it is almost impossible to make a product that tastes good to all customers. Your input has been submitted to the relevant specialist department. We hope you will find other potato chips in our range that suit your taste. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you very much for your kind and decent answer, but: 1. you did not answer my actual question; 2. a change of producer is usually voluntary (e.g. the new one is cheaper etc.); 3. I do not assume that your internal tasting team consists of Indians. You can really believe it, the new potato chips are NOT authentic, as can be read primarily in the other reactions; 4. the fact that all but one of the reactions are negative is a clear sign that almost all existing customers don't like the new potato chips. Well, you'll probably only take it seriously when the sales figures go down. That may take a while (until everyone has tasted the new recipe!), but I am hopeful. I've already experienced this once with another Migros product: the people in charge there were clever enough to reintroduce the old product. You don't need to reply any more, I know when I'm falling on deaf ears... Kind regards

Hello Migros Team As nutritional values are very important to me, I bought these potato chips because they said 11g fat, which is a top nutritional value for potato chips. But they tasted so greasy that I am a little unsure. Have you had the nutritional values tested and are you sure that they are correct with only 11g fat?

Thank you for your question Veggi28. We source the Namaste India Papadum Chips from a new manufacturer. They therefore have a slightly different recipe. This also affects the nutritional values. The "new" chips actually have a much lower fat content. If you have any further questions, please get in touch. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello dear Migros team, As you have recently seen from the reviews, the new recipe and the new supplier have not been very well received. Are you thinking of changing this again and returning to the old recipe? The product was really great before, and no other supplier has anything like it. Thank you for a short feedback. With many thanks MS

Hello Marscherr, thank you for your question. Our internal tasting staff rated the nine chips as better quality and more authentic. We are sorry that you no longer like them. Tastes are very different - it's difficult to make a product that tastes good to all our customers. There are currently no plans to make any further adjustments. The responsible department has been informed of your request. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Bought today: two packs of 100 g each: 32 g fat. Your content information shows 11 g. Can you please clarify this?

Hello EZi There has recently been a change of supplier for the product Namaste India Papadum Chips, 158510300000. The chips now also have a different recipe, which has a corresponding effect on the nutritional values. The nutritional values have already been adjusted in the information in the system, while in some cases you will still find products with the old recipe and old nutritional values in the store. Kind regards from your M-Infoline team
