Why is one of the 4 lights no longer flashing?

The display on my device has recently started flashing. I have replaced the empty bottle but it is still flashing. Does the device still help against mosquitoes in this state?

I have the 35ml bottle. It is the original one, which is integrated in the package with the plug. (As I said, I bought two of them) Article no. 5051.214 (Pack LOT: 098BF / EXP: 09.2025)
Thank you for the additional information Homemanager. The bottle should be firmly secured in the housing. If you pull on the bottle, it must not fall out. However, it can be moved back and forth a little in the housing. It is important that the bottle is straight when it is screwed into the housing. Unfortunately, the picture on the packaging is not perfect. Hold the bottle straight, insert the plug into the bottle and then turn the bottle into the plug as far as it will go. If this does not work, there may be a defect. Hello, I bought two of these mosquito and fly repellents with a timer. When "you" screw the bottle into the plug, you can't get the bottle to sit firmly. It seems to be loose. Is that normal? Or is there a trick you have to use? Maybe I don't understand something? At least I have two plugs and it's the same with both..... Thanks for your feedback.
Dear Home Manager, thank you for your question about the Optimum Timer. The timer device comes with a refill bottle with the article number 5051.213. Do you have this or the one with the article number 5051.058? These are suitable for the Optimum plug without timer with article number 5051.057. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
