Hello Miss_Swiss_77, according to food law, the arsenic content in rice is set at a maximum of 0.1 mg / kg for infants and 0.2 mg / kg for adults. All values above this may not be placed on the market. Our suppliers regularly test the various rice products for arsenic and acrylamide residues. Migros also randomly tests these products. Hello Miss_Swiss_77, thank you for your renewed message. According to organic regulations, the use of chemical-synthetic additives and ingredients is avoided in organic cultivation. What is different about this rice compared to natural whole grain rice? I can see that it takes less time to cook. Why is that? Would it be possible to offer this rice in 1 kg packs?
Hello Patrick_Widmer, unfortunately we cannot offer this rice in 1 kg packs as we only have limited space for items in the stores. However, we would like to thank you for your input and will be happy to take it on board. Regarding the difference: Brown wholegrain rice is a parboiled rice and Natura wholegrain rice is not. The cooking time is shorter compared to brown rice. The parboiled process also changes the starch contained in the grain: parboiled rice is particularly loose and grainy.
