Hello Ponca, Thank you for your question. We're happy to inform you that you don't need a primer. Miocolor Long-Lasting Glaze does not require an additional primer. You can apply it directly to older wood, provided it is clean and dry. The Migros Specialized Markets Team

Good afternoon, we have just bought a container of permanent protective glaze and found that it is very thick and therefore less suitable for rough wooden posts with gaps that we want to protect from the weather. Is the Miocolor 2in1 impregnating glaze thinner and therefore more suitable?

Hello. The permanent protective glaze now takes about 2 days to dry. The glaze was bought 2 years ago but only half of it was applied. The rest has become somewhat thicker in the meantime. Is it possible to add more solvent to shorten the drying time, and if so, which one? Many thanks for your help, regards Pedro
