No comparison to the earlier stains in powder form for mixing yourself. No change in the wood. I would not buy it again
Very good, applied to an old, graying wooden cabinet and after a couple of hours the result was excellent and gave it a new look!

The result is really magnificent on spruce (wall and ceiling), easy to apply too (very uniform black rendering, one coat with a brush is all you need), it seems durable but you have to wait.
After 2 coats I got the color I was looking for. I applied it with a small cloth and it was fine. Just don't forget to wear gloves. :-)
For staining a guitar made of Limba (White Korina), this product was the only stain that covered the entire surface. In previous trials with powder-based products for mixing, the recessed grain remained uncolored. This stain has therefore proved its worth.
