Dear Migros, can't the *quality be improved? It would also be great if you could get the sponges in sets of 5 - that would also save on packaging *See my review from today.

Hello I have the blue cellulose sponges. Can these be washed in the dishwasher or washing machine at 60 degrees or cleaned with very hot water? Thank you. Lg Sandra

Hello SandraSchweyckart, we recommend that you do not wash the sponges in the washing machine as they could fall apart. However, we do not see any problem with hot water. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello etheba, thank you for your inquiry. We are pleased that you are interested in the composition of the product. We are happy to inform you that the fleece is made of plastic with rounded plastic grains. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you for the quick and precise answer. Do Migros have non-scratching cleaning sponges that are made from natural, biodegradable materials? The cellulose in these sponges here should come from plant fibers per se. At home, we were wondering how best to wash cleaning sponges (and cleaning cloths), as plastic fibers are washed out in the washing machine with microparticles that cannot be completely captured in the wastewater treatment plants. Although we have a wash bag (the GuppyFriend recommended by OceanCare) that retains these microfibers, we would prefer not to have to use the bag in the first place. On the other hand, the spongy cleaning cloths we use are made of cotton and viscose, i.e. cellulose (and again plant fibers).

Hello etheba, thank you very much for your feedback. You are correct in your assumption: the cellulose is made up of plant fibers. As you are not using the bag you mentioned, we recommend our Miobrill Greenline loofah sponges. You can rinse the products well after each use and leave them to dry in a suitable place. Wow, thank you! The loofah sponges have escaped my attention so far. I will test them when I get the chance. I'm particularly curious about their absorbency.
