After months of use, I finally found the trick to boil the water for a few extra 10 seconds so that the water was finally really boiling and not just hot, which meant that my drinks weren't really top-notch for very long unless I used a thermos, but impossible to have a hot water bottle on my feet for just one night of at least eight hours. Before, even with a towel, it was only four hours if I was lucky. It's a good thing the volume of water is large, because you absolutely can't exceed 1L500 max. Otherwise it's an accident. I hope the next ones will be exactly like the one I had, because even if the volume wasn't as big, I had water that had boiled enough to be really useful. Anyway, there's nothing like heating water and the like on a hotplate for cooking, and this will be my next purchase, because the microwave isn't really great for preparing real meals.

Sealant was leaking out of the bottom, which was fine for a long time until a white layer of sealant appeared around the inside of the bottom. I bought this product because I consider hot water and plastic to be a health problem. But now I fear that the sealant is now more harmful than any plastic stove. I hope that this product is an isolated case, otherwise I would ask Migros to remove the kettle from their range as soon as possible. I will now exchange the product and if this happens again, I will take other measures.

Super kettle! Sometimes a bit loud when heating up! The temperature setting is also great, e.g. at 50 degrees a "green ring" lights up around the jug !!!!
