Mio Star Kettle Vario

I bought this one. It's reasonably priced, its transparency makes it aesthetically pleasing, it has a large capacity and a variety of fast heating options, and it beeps when it reaches the desired temperature.
I hope it will keep me happy for at least two years too. Time will tell, especially as I have a warranty.
I can now fill two 75 ml thermos jugs.

After two months of use, I've noticed that water heated to 90°C doesn't retain its heat for very long when I use it in a teapot, coffee pot or kettle to heat my feet. In fact, although the water heats up quickly, it doesn't maintain the boil like my old appliance did for another 30 seconds at most, which makes a noticeable difference. I'm pulling back the stars because it doesn't perform as well as I'd hoped, although it's aesthetically pleasing and relatively practical.

Sealant was leaking out of the bottom, which was fine for a long time until a white layer of sealant appeared around the inside of the bottom. I bought this product because I consider hot water and plastic to be a health problem. But now I fear that the sealant is now more harmful than any plastic stove. I hope that this product is an isolated case, otherwise I would ask Migros to remove the kettle from their range as soon as possible. I will now exchange the product and if this happens again, I will take other measures.

Super kettle! Sometimes a bit loud when heating up! The temperature setting is also great, e.g. at 50 degrees a "green ring" lights up around the jug !!!!
