The wheel drive stopped working after the 2nd use. As soon as the grass basket is half full or the lawn is slightly sloping, the wheel drive no longer works. I took the appliance in for repair. It was written: Error could not be reproduced. The appliance complies with the manufacturer's specifications. It's a shame that such an expensive appliance doesn't work. This model is also very difficult to start.
I bought it 2 years ago, fortunately for half the price, starts very badly, even when mowing, wheel drive also works very badly. A few weeks ago I wanted to take out the spark plug to clean it because it wouldn't start again, and the whole thread of the engine block came with it, resulting in total damage. Very disappointed by this expensive machine: - Major starting problems, requiring numerous pulls on the engine starter rope, even when hot - Need to "prime" with the button on the air filter before each start - Very high noise level, 98 dB(A) - The design of the grass collection bag, which has to be passed under the upper handlebars each time it is removed and replaced, is ergonomically very hard on the back. On other models, you can simply tilt the bag to pass it between the handlebar branches... I bought the same BMR53 model about ten years ago, equipped with a Briggs & Stratton engine on a different chassis, and it was a much more reliable mower in every respect. Time goes by and the quality of Migros products declines, which is a real shame!
I was able to buy the lawn mower during a special offer. Top product, despite the rather weak drive. I am satisfied!
Where can I buy the blade fastening screw and complete bracket for the lawn blade? The hotline couldn't help either. The only solution is to bring the lawn mower back to the store... Should be a premium product...

I have been using the mower for 2 months to mulch meadow grass approx. 20cm high. Positive: Powerful, large rear wheels, robust, variable speed, good cut, easy to fit. Negative: Very noisy. Engine starts poorly when the mower is tilted for cleaning, even if the fuel tap is closed beforehand. The mulch ejector is poorly designed. The grass is not ejected far enough, resulting in grubs and piles. When pulling backwards, the mulch ejector usually falls off because it gets caught on the turf. These negative points should not be present on such an expensive machine. Roland
