Good day. We have been using this product for years and are satisfied with it. Could it be that the quality has changed recently? The latest sticks have far too little absorbent cotton in the front part that goes into the child's ear. My daughter was really in pain and cried during the last application. Lot no. of packaging: 15 195 05:34. Two questions: Can you improve the quality of the sticks as before? Hello Der_Koenigspinguin Thank you for your feedback. We can assure you that we have not changed anything in the product. The sticks are subject to very strict safety regulations, which we strictly adhere to. The absorbent cotton sticks are manufactured using state-of-the-art machines. If a stick is not equipped with absorbent cotton or if the amount of absorbent cotton is too small for the stick, the machine automatically sorts the cotton bud out. We have checked our retained samples. We did not find any deviations from the quality standard. No errors were recorded during quality control. It is very important to note that the baby cotton buds are very soft and must be used with care. The intended use of the product is only for cleaning the outer, visible area of the ear. To ensure the safety of the product, it has been specially designed to have two advantages: 1. the "cotton head" is so resistant that it presses against the ear when pressure is applied during use; 2. the large cotton "ball" prevents the entrance of the bud from entering the baby's ear canal and thus offers maximum safety. There are two critical parameters that the user should always keep in mind when using the product. The baby's ear should ideally be wet. Above all, however, it is important that the user does not press against the ear with force. As already mentioned, safety cotton buds must never penetrate the inner area of the ear and should be used gently and with particular care. We hope that this information has been helpful to you.
