The olives now taste as delicious as ever and are now back in my shopping cart as a standard product.

I can only agree with the previous opinions. A standard purchase for me for years. My absolute favorite olives! For a few months now, however, on the verge of inedibility! Several packs are soft as plop, suspiciously fermented / rancid smell. While shopping yesterday, I pressed on the packet and found one with firm olives. The taste is completely different - almost chemically coated. Please check urgently! Something is very, very wrong.
