Hello, I noticed today that this product is packaged differently than before and that the shelf life is much longer than before. Previously the product could be kept until the next day, now it can be kept until 5.6.25.
What changes have been made to make this much longer shelf life possible? And is the product less healthy as a result?

Unfortunately, there was an error in the dating on the day your product was packaged. The correct best-before date (BBD) should have been 22/05/2025. However, an item with a longer shelf life (best before date 05.06.2025) was produced on the same packing machine shortly before. When the products were changed, the date was not adjusted correctly and the error went unnoticed. We immediately reported this incident to our quality assurance department, which thoroughly investigated the case and took appropriate measures to avoid such errors in the future. Please be assured that the quality and safety of our products is our top priority. The misprinted date has no impact on the health or quality of the product. It is merely a human error in dating.

I don't quite understand why it says "eat the same day" in the product description. I bought a bag of them today, with a best-before date of tomorrow. That means they are good until at least tomorrow, often even longer.

Numerous Sils sandwiches were ordered in all branches and sold well. As these sandwiches have a shelf life of two days, they can no longer be sold on Monday. It's worth going shopping in the morning on Saturdays - the later you go, the less chance you have of getting these sandwiches.
