It took me a little while to get used to the taste but I really enjoyed it afterwards. I found it very refreshing. I had also read somewhere that mate also gives you energy, but I didn't really notice that. Admittedly, I can also sleep immediately after a double espresso, so my body probably reacts a little differently

Tastes fine. But if you look at the ingredients, it is VERY disappointing compared to the original. Only mate extract, lots of sugar and artificially added caffeine & color.
