Is the curved bottom of the pan original, or is it a defect that develops with use?

How hot can the pan get on the hob? Is the inner coating hazardous to health above a certain temperature, similar to Teflon?
Hello CaMaS, thank you for your inquiry. The optimum cooking temperature is between 200 and 230 degrees, depending on the food. We recommend that you do not exceed a temperature of 300 degrees.
