Can this product really go in the microwave? Normally, it is not recommended for stainless steel so as not to damage the appliance. Can you test it in the break kitchen? :D
Hello Imperator_Palpatine, thank you for your question. Our stainless steel tins from the newly launched Mix & Match storage range can effectively be used in the microwave, thanks to a special production process. However, strict care must be taken to ensure that the tin does not touch the inside walls of the microwave, as this would cause sparks. A note to this effect is printed on the packaging labels. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
Then these are probably only compatible with certain microwaves I assume. I have the Mio Star Wave Easy 201 microwave from Melectronics, which doesn't have a glass plate but simply a base. Do you have any information on whether this works without a glass plate?
Hello Imperator_Palpatine, we have not forgotten you. Our investigations are still ongoing. We will get back to you as soon as we have the answer from the specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello Imperator_Palpatine, thank you for your patience. Our manufacturer has tested several different appliances without a turntable with its metal cans and found no problems. We therefore also consider the use in microwave ovens without a built-in turntable to be unproblematic. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team
