Hello Elena20, recycled aluminum foil is made from waste materials generated during aluminum production, such as die-cutting scraps. To date, aluminum foil still cannot be produced from "post-consumer" material, as it has not yet been classified as food-safe. The aluminum currently accepted at Swiss recycling collection points is not put back into circulation as recycled aluminum foil.
