Hello Migipedia team, I have noticed something new about the problem myself. The unpleasant smell and taste is only present if there is some liquid in the product when it is opened. If there is no liquid in it, the product is 1-A. I tried draining the liquid and leaving the product open for a while, after which it could be consumed without too much trouble.
Is it possible that this liquid that I have found in places is something from cleaning or disinfecting the filling machine or production line?

Due to the error described, we assume that the temperature profile during distribution (cold chain) was not optimal and/or the cup was exposed to mechanical stress (strong vibrations) during distribution. As a result, the contents are damaged and serum forms. However, the liquid in question cannot be attributed to the cleaning or disinfection of the production line. Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

Thanks for your information. I have now looked in the fridge for one with a different expiry date and have found it. (See photo) This quark tastes delicious. No unpleasant smell or taste. (I can't say whether it's because I'm chronically ill and have chronic pain syndrome as well as severe problems with my nerves and whether this also affects the taste and smell) I suspect that something in the quark with the expiration date 08.06.2024 that I had was not as usual and I react too strongly to it.
