This product comes from a GlobalG.A.P.-certified production facility and is also evaluated as part of our M-Check Fish program. The M-Check Fish program is based on clear criteria and is implemented in collaboration with the NGO Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP). The 3-star rating represents what we consider a responsible classification: For farmed fish, environmental aspects are given particular consideration, including legal requirements, water consumption, water quality standards, the handling of pathogens, as well as requirements and objectives regarding feed, particularly its marine content. At the same time, it is important to us to make it clear that the M-Check does not replace independent third-party certification.
