Dear Migros, I purchased this product on May 5, 2026, at the MMM Neumarkt SG store. It was sold in a Migros Fresca "From the Region" package for CHF 1.80. Was it packaged incorrectly, or do you sometimes sell imported tomatoes in different boxes? I think something was off, but I didn’t notice until I got home :) They were definitely tasty and reasonably priced, too.
Hello SweetchiliGrizzlybär, thank you very much for your message. We were happy to check with our relevant department. The product is indeed locally sourced and comes from the producer Purnatur in Ellikon an der Thur. Previously, both regional and imported goods were sold under the same product code. That is why we had to base our pricing on the lower import price and offer the AdR date tomatoes for CHF 1.80. The pricing has since been adjusted. As a result, we can now offer the AdR date tomatoes at a reasonable Swiss retail price that continues to meet the guidelines. Best regards, your M-Infoline Team

Yesterday I bought these tomatoes and there were several with a black coloring. I am sending two photos of the same package. Is this normal?
Hi Casetta, thank you very much for your message. We are sorry that the date tomatoes were not of the usual quality. Of course this should not happen. We have discussed the matter with the specialized office. We believe that the package you purchased was offered for sale in error. Please excuse us for this. The offices concerned have been informed of your report and we have proceeded to intensify our checks. Sincerely, Your M-Infoline Team
