Unfortunately, I feel like the new Migros paprika chips don't taste the same as they used to. I think they’re now just like the regular M Budget paprika chips used to be. Our whole family loved the taste of the Migros paprika chips. It’s a shame that popular “classic” products are often replaced. The new ones taste kind of bland.

We are now producing our paprika chips without smoke flavoring because the legal requirements have changed. In April 2024, it was decided not to renew the approval for certain smoke flavorings. This decision was based on new scientific assessments by the European Food Safety Authority, which identified health concerns regarding the smoke flavorings under review. Against this backdrop, we have adjusted the recipe and will no longer use smoke flavoring at all in the future. Of course, it was very important to us to preserve the familiar taste as much as possible. However, we understand that changes—especially to popular products—are viewed with great sensitivity.
