The quality of the sponges suddenly deteriorates. After a short time, the roughened side dissolves. I used to be able to wash and reuse the sponges.

This used to be my absolute favorite scouring sponge. For some time now absolutely unusable. The sponge wears away within a short time and the scouring part detaches from the rest. The (good) sponges used to be made in Germany. The current (unusable) ones come from the Czech Republic. They probably cost a fraction of the price to produce now, but you just get scrap. It would be nice if Migros took care of this...
Unfortunately, the upper part separates relatively quickly from the rest. I have been using these sponges for years and they are always washed at 60 degrees. Something seems to have changed, because recently the upper part has become detached from the rest of the sponge after about 2-3 washes. What a pity. I will have to look around at the competition.
These blue sponges used to be very good, unfortunately the quality has changed, the abrasive part only falls apart when the sponge is lying unused on the table and you then have crumbs everywhere. The sponge wears out within a very short time, it used to last 5 times longer.
