Summarized ...

«Customers appreciate the quality and taste of the organic chicken, although some find it expensive. However, there are also reports of dry and tough texture, leading to mixed experiences. Overall, the positive perception prevails, especially compared to conventional chickens.»

Nothing to add

Another real chicken with character, flavor and solid bones. Simply good. I wrote that once... At the moment the animals are quite smelly. The chicken must have fat, the last chicken tasted kind of musty and smelly. I wonder if this chicken never made it out into the field because of the threat of bird flu? Since the issue comes up every winter, the animals should be able to get some fresh air in a secure, semi-open conservatory, right?
... I wrote this in winter 24/25 and have now, in June 25, bought another one with the thought that they could certainly be outside in summer. Today's chicken once again tasted and smelled so trany that I wonder how this could have happened. Whether it's the feed, husbandry, slaughter or all of the above, it's another stinky chicken. I've had enough so slowly. When I think how delicious these French free-range chickens from the Landes tasted, which Migros unfortunately hasn't offered for years, and what stinky animals the Helvetian production produces, I'll have a look at Coop when it comes to organic chickens!

Can only be used as soup chicken! Extremely tough and dry. This is not the first organic chicken from Migros to have the same consistency. Probably an ancient chicken that must have been allowed to live a few happy years. An organic chicken from Coop is better by far. In future, we will do without organic chicken from Migros.

Reason 3 stars is simply because animal welfare is only 4 stars one more optigal !!!
Given the price you should get 5 stars animal welfare !!!

Sehr gut gegrillt

Too big/heavy. It would be nice if small chickens were offered in organic quality. It was almost impossible to open the packaging because the plastic was so tear-proof.

The quality of the meat is very good, especially compared to the normal Optigalpoulet. Price too high in relation.

Good but extremely expensive

Good that in organic quality. Was very tasty

My first soup chicken for my sick husband 🥳 Excellent quality, the organic label gave me a good feeling of a fair life for this animal
