Why are organic fruit and vegetables packaged in plastic and often not available individually?

Hello yarlung, by law we are obliged to clearly separate organic products from conventionally produced items at all times. Just labeling the display is not enough. That's why Migros deliberately sells most of its organic range in packaged form. However, we already sell many organic products without packaging: melons, nectarines, pineapples, avocados, mangoes and oranges, red peppers, eggplants and grapes. The following organic products will be added in the course of this year: pumpkin, persimmon. We are still testing other items for open sale. We label the remaining organic fruit and vegetables either with a sticker or a banderole. We are constantly checking for which other products it makes sense to use a sticker instead of foil packaging. For organic potatoes, for example, it is not practical to put a sticker on every single one. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are there hardly any organic products available at Migros Kerzers? Peppers are only available in organic quality in Kerzers at the Coop 🙄

Why are there no organic green peppers in Migros?

Hi BeaCV, thanks for your post. Unfortunately, there is not enough space in the stores to offer all the colors of both conventional and organic peppers. For this reason, we only have the most popular ones in our organic range, namely the red and yellow ones. Depending on the cooperative, they offer the green peppers on open sale (sometimes only at weekends). Best regards, your M-Infoline team
