Yes, the Nüssler is really very tasty and super prepared, you hardly have to prepare/wash it. Everything is great!!! BUT: Why does the Nüssler (and all other salads!) have to be packed dripping wet in the bags?!!! That really bothers me, because I don't necessarily eat the salad on the same day and if I leave it in the bag like that, it wilts and rots very quickly. I think that's a shame...
Delicious lamb's lettuce, I call it "Doucette", with tender leaves. The salad was dressed with Anna's Best Raspberry Vinaigrette https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/annas-best-vinaigrette-himbeer. It was served with Cornatur Falafel https://migipedia.migros.ch/en/130984100000. Both together with some Heinz sauces made a delicious lunch! 28.02.2015 Like all lamb's lettuces - wash thoroughly and then drain well. Without chopping, I put the mouse ears in a bowl with a small chopped banana shallot, a chopped organic egg https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/bio-schweizer-eier-freilandhaltung-196070800400 and a light dressing with crème fraîche. As I only had a rather dry quiche lorraine https://migipedia.migros.ch/en/113774800000 to go with the salad, I had no problem eating the 100 g of lamb's lettuce!
This organic lamb's lettuce is a real treat! The leaves are usually smaller and more tender than those of conventional lettuce. The best thing is that in our region of Lucerne, the organic lettuce comes from the Wauwilermoos prison, which I consider to be a vegetable nursery worth supporting. What's more, this organic salad is always available, even in smaller stores, although on my budget I can only afford organic here when Migros has a promotion or the price is reduced to 50% just before closing time. I hope that I will soon be able to get my hands on another special offer bowl ;-). Tip: The Nüssler tastes particularly good with thinly sliced mushrooms or half a walnut sprinkled on top. You don't need much salad dressing with this nutty taste. Best regards, "Twilight"
